How it works !!

Quick Overview

The GROW-CRAFT-SHOW system allows Show Organisers to collect user entries prior to their Event. The system is hosted on the grow-craft-show.co.uk server. Each Organisation will have their own sub-domain.

Access to the system is via a login account. Typically an organisation will have one or more Administrators and one or more Paper Entry accounts.

The Administrator has full control of their site and the Users. Administrators can create their Events. An Event identifies a Show where Entrants swill bring their exhibits. The Administrator will add exhibit Classes to the Event for Entrants to select from.

Entrants need to register a login account to be able to select Class Entries for themselves or on behalf of friends and family that do not have access to the system and need to user paper forms to make their registrations.

The Administrator sets an Open date and time when the Users are able to make their selections, and also set a Close data and time when the system will automatically disable any new entries.

The Paper Entry accounts are able to make additional entries on behalf of Entrants who cannot get access to the system.

When all entries are complete the Administrator will Lock out further updates and will ask the system to allocate unique Entrant Numbers to each Entrant. Once Entry numbers are allocated the Administrator is able to print off all the Entry Cards for the Show.

The Administrator can then print off the Show Day Entry Sheets which can be used by staff to ‘check-in’ entrants on Show Day.

The system maintains all entry details for post-Show analysis.
